MEET THE FIREFIGHTER This program is an opportunity to teach the youth of our community that firefighters are their friends. Firefighters "transform" from men and women in uniform to firefighters in their protective turn out gear that includes self contained breathing apparatus. They can look scary so it is important for one to see what they look and sound like while wearing their gear. If someone becomes trapped inside a burning building this is the person you want to see and hear.
