We have been receiving calls from residents saying they are seeing or have seen coyotes in their neighborhoods. While the city's policy on coyotes is not to hunt or trap them, we are keeping a tracking record of these sightings.

If you see a coyote in your neighborhood, please call the City Manager's Office at 415-2258 and tell us (or leave a message) where it was seen. Click here to view the most recent Coyote/Fox Sightings Map.

Expecting that animals alone will have to change their behavior is not feasible. It is important to know that people are unknowingly attracting coyotes and other wildlife to the area. The city believes that education is the best tool we have in managing coyotes and have put together an informational brochure. Please click here to view the brochure.
