 The VRC climbing wall is 27 feet tall and is sure to be a challenge for any climber, novice or experienced. Climbing wall hours are posted at the VRC and online and change seasonally. All climbing wall participants must sign a participant agreement and waiver available at the climbing wall desk or online each January. Climbers and belayers under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian consent to participate. All climbers/belayers must be VRC approved to participate through an orientation/clinic. The VRC reserves the right to dismiss any climbing wall participant at any time for unsafe practices or behaviors. Bouldering is allowed when the climbing wall is closed only. You may only boulder one foot off of the ground. Non-members must pay the climbing wall fee, this service is free to members. You must sign in with the fitness attendant on duty in order to boulder. You may only boulder on the side that faces the fitness floor.
