The Vandalia Fire Administration office is located at 8705 Peters Pike.The Vandalia fire chief is assisted by the assistant fire chief, a command staff of nine paid on-call captains, lieutenants, two full-time captains, four full-time FF/Paramedics, and an office manager. Other staff includes a combination of 18 part-time FF/Paramedics and FF/EMTs and approximately 40 paid on call members. The Fire Division services approximately 12.35 square miles and a population of approximately 15,246 (2010 Census). In addition, the Fire Division assists other communities with automatic mutual aid responses (AMAR).
