ACCIDENT BILLING

In April 2010, city council voted to begin billing for cost recovery for accidents.Insurance companies of the at fault driver will be billed for damages and supplies needed to clean up, repair or replace damage to city property.  At no time will a resident be billed for additional charges over and above the insurance company payment.  The Division of Fire contracts with COST RECOVERY to carry out our billing. FIRE REPORTS

Requests for fire reports can be requested from Fire Administration, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours by calling 937-898-2261. One copy of a fire report will be provided to a customer at no charge. If you intend to pick up a copy of a fire incident report, please call ahead so that it can be prepared.  Immediate access to fire reports may not be able to be granted at time of request; it is the goal of the Division of Fire to act upon fire requests as soon as possible provided the investigation has been completed and recorded.  Mail requests should be expected to take seven to ten days.
